BRAD MUIR
JOINS TCA AS
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
On January 1, 2011, Technical Change Associates, Inc. signed into a partnership with Brad muir, President of Lean Technologies. Rick smith, President of TCA announced the agreement at their annual planning meeting. Prior to the announcement, Brad had been working with TCA as a contractor implementing Lean, training teams, designing and reconfiguring facility layouts as well as leading other successful projects. The permanent addition of Brad will enhance TCA’s ability to provide flawless consulting to their clients. Rick Smith explains, “Brad brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in Lean tools, and I couldn’t be happier with his decision to join our team,” and further states, “His values and commitment match those of TCA; it’s a perfect fit.”
“I am tremendously excited for this opportunity,” said Brad. “I am looking forward to building up the programs already in place and helping TCA grow and attract new business.” Brad strongly believes that the combination of continuous education and hands-on experience gives him the edge that clients need for successful programs. “So many professionals will read a book and call themselves ‘consultants, ‘ but I believe my years of experience in leading the charge gives my customers an advantage.” “That’s also why I wanted to join TCA,” Brad emphasizes,“ “All the associates involved with TCA have at least 20 years’ of implementation experience at gemba (the actual place where value happens). About Brad Muir
Brad brings to TCA more than 25 years of both Domestic and International experience implementing World Class/Lean concepts to Fortune 500 companies. Most recent, Mr. Muir founded Lean Technologies, a company focused on creating strategic business plans, capacity analysis, facilities planning and layout, and other Lean/Six Sigma technologies. Brad held previous executive positions such as Vice President – Operations, Vice President – Engineering, Director of Operations and Lean Manufacturing, and Lean Manufacturing Project Manager. Brad is a Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CME), Member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), and a Site Examiner for the Shingo Prize of Excellence.
